CITY #1 Hyderabad
1. Lumbini Park
An eco-friendly park that boasts of luminescent scenery, children’s rides, playground, nature walks, water-based activities…. They’ve got something to make every child giddy with delight. And the icing on the cake? They have a 3D laser show and a musical fountain show to top off a perfect day spent here.

2.Buddha Statue
The serene waters of the Hussein Sagar lake are a vision to behold. But that’s not the only reason to bring your kids here. Take a slow boat ride to the centre, where standing at 18 meters tall is the largest monolithic Buddha statue in the world. 3. Nehru Zoological Park
Take your kids on a lion safari, stop by the Jurassic Park, visit the nocturnal animal house and butterfly garden, and take a tour of the Natural history museum… and that’s only a few of attractions at this incredible zoological park.

4. KBR National Park
This natural park boasts of a wide variety of flowers, plants and trees, making it the perfect walking trail for the budding nature lover. The park also has historical significance as the Chiran palace lies within its borders and it’s definitely worth a visit as well.

1. Pimpri Chinchwad Science Park
If your kids are curious about science, bring them here for a fun day of exploration and experimentation. There are several interactive science exhibits along with a 3.5-acre open science park that will set off many light bulb moments in your child’s brain.

2. Pataleshwar Cave Temple
If your kids are longing for adventure, take them on a trip to the 8th century.
Here, they’ve found an incomplete cave temple that is bereft of an entrance or exit, but full of wonder. Carved out of a single rock, this architectural marvel is worth seeing.

3. Pune Okayama Friendship Garden
If you can’t afford to take your kids to Japan this summer, then bring Japan to them. This 10-acre park is a replica of a typical Japanese garden with lush green lawns and hills, serene ponds with bright red fish, and even a whispering stream. 4. Gram Sanskruti Udyan Park
If your child is indoors playing video games all day, bring them here instead. Why play second life on a gaming screen when you can be in the middle of a reconstructed village? 5. Tekdis (hills)
Mention of fun activities for kids in Pune is incomplete without the mention of its Tekdis (aka hills). Mornings of weekend and holidays, hundreds of city folks, old and young, climb these hills. 1. The Auto World Vintage Car Museum
If your kid is crazy about cars, they’ve got Lincoln, Bentley and Rolls-Royce car model that comes with a slice of history attached. This museum houses some of the best looking vintage cars in the world, and the best part? You can take your kid on a drive in one of the cars. It’s an experience you don’t want to miss.

2. Kankaria Lake
Summertime and water-based activities go together like chocolate sauce on vanilla ice-cream. It’s a perfect match. So bring your family out to the lake and spent the day here. You can go boating, visit the zoo, enjoy riding a toy train or just gaze at the spectacular view.

3. Sabarmati Riverfront

4. Indroda Park
Skip the latest Jurassic Park sequel, and bring your kids here to see the real deal instead. This dinosaur and fossil park has a dinosaur museum, zoo, skeletons of many sea mammals, a botanical garden and even camping sites.

2. Gerry Martin’s Farm
Take your kids out to this lovely farm for a full day outing. Here, your child can spend time feeding and cuddling cute creatures like pigs, rabbits and guinea pigs. There’s enough space to run around in the fresh air, too. It’s the perfect recipe for happy, pink-cheeked kids.

1. Ulsoor Lake

3. Bal Bhavan

4. Technical Museum
